James Cameron hints at retirement from his hit film Avatar

Los Angeles: Popular Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron is considering handing over the direction to another director after his famous film 'Avatar 3'.

According to reports, James Cameron has been working on a sequel to his 2009 blockbuster film 'Avatar' for more than a decade and the filmmaker has revealed that he is considering retiring from the Avatar franchise for other projects in the future. ۔

The sequel to the first 'Avatar', titled 'The Way of Water', will be released in theaters on December 16. The third film in the Avatar series was shot with him and is set to release in 2024.

Although Cameron plans to have more 'Avatar' sequels after the two films, he may not be directing them.

After completing work on the third sequel, the filmmaker said that he was considering handing over the series to another director. He said that directing Avatar films takes a lot of time and effort. I have some other projects that I am preparing for. So I would like to give the responsibility of directing the next Avatar sequels to another director whom I trust so that I can work on some other projects.
